Way Out Project

This is one of the specialist projects operated by Teen Challenge UK and its purpose is to befriend and help girls trapped in the sex industry, often to support a drug addiction. The outreach team is led by Julie Murray, Deputy Manager at Hope House, and comprises of girls in the Teen Challenge Training Institute.

The operation is conducted from a mobile centre which provides a base and contact point in red light areas. It also doubles up as accommodation for the team which means the project is very flexible and can work in any part of the UK. Girls who are interested in being helped will be provided places in the Hope House programme.

Invitations are welcomed from churches who would like ‘Operation Way Out’ to visit their community to interact and evangelise this special area of need. Julie can be contacted on 01269 844114.
