Training School

Residents who have successfully completed their twelve month programme may apply to join the Training Institute where they could spend a further six months in a residential setting. Here they will be equipped to work with Teen Challenge or a similar organisation. This is an ideal opportunity to gain more skills and experience whilst preparing to move on to independent living. Graduates of the Training Institute will be eligible to work with Teen Challenge, either in the UK or abroad, in preventative and intervention work (evangelism) or care work in residential rehabilitation centres.

A highlight of the training is a missions trip to a Third World country to work with the local folk who are trying to help or evangelise their communities. We have very strong links with Teen Challenge in India and Swaziland, Southern Africa.
